The location of the hotel was ideal, with a pub just across the road and local shops within a 10-minute walk. the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the hansgrohe shower was a luxurious touch.
The lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably hot during the summer heatwave. the window could only be opened slightly, and the fan provided little relief.

Nothing too much trouble, we would stay here again when in Norwich. Good rooms and staff, and even a private parking. We had double beds and we all slept well.

Great location, close to the city center and river. Easy access to restaurants and bars. The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of food available for breakfast, including vegetarian options.
No air conditioning, which can be a problem during hot weather. The fan in the room was not enough to cool down the temperature, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Easy access to city centre and venue we were attending.
It would have been helpful to provide parking details with the booking rather than have to park after arrival at the hotel. The vegetarian menu was poor, too little variety.

The hotel is conveniently located very near the church and close to all the attractions in Norwich. On arriving to check in everything was done very efficiently. the rooms were lovely, feeling like home as soon as we walked in, with comfortable beds, well, stocked tea, making facilities. the bathroom had a bath and shower, and there were plenty of towels provided. the breakfast was fresh and well, cooked with a good variety of options.
Some reviews mentioned that the parking was not located on, site and required a short walk to a nearby car park.

The price I was charged was more than 3 times the price that was advertised at the entrance of the hotel. I asked why ? I was answered it was because "I reserved through Bookings" (!) , so I had to pay 4 (!!!) beds, regular rooms are not for "Bookings" !!!!!. There was no alternative in the reservation. The hotel was poor, people sitten at the door entrance, inefficient and unpolite, sinks no properly discharging etc. . If I don't get credited at least 50 € I will refuse Bookings service forever. (I used Bookings at least 10 times in the last year.

The standard of cleanliness was excellent. Premier Inn does always score highly on this (I stay in them regularly) but I thought this hotel was superb in this respect - the room was absolutely pristine.
The room was airless and it was not possible to open the window more than a crack even though I was on an upper floor. A fan was provided but this didn't solve the problem, and I slept very badly as a result. It wasn't a particularly warm night, so I think it had more to do with the design of the building? Pillows are not particularly good - rather soft and fluffy like marshmallows, and didn't give good support.
